A little about The Riveter Barbershop.
WE CAN DO IT!
My name is Tiffany Horrell. Let me just tell you a little about how The Riveter Barbershop became more than a dream. Since I started my career I have dreamed of owning my own barbershop. I have been in this industry for many years and I love what I do! Somehow, I found the opportunity during this pandemic. Some people have said I am crazy for opening a business right now, but I had a dream and I made it happen. If you want something you have to go get it! I named my barbershop The Riveter because I have always been inspired by Rosie the Riveter. She was the star of a campaign aimed at recruiting female workers for defense industries during World War II, and she became perhaps the most iconic image of working women. American women entered the workforce in unprecedented numbers during the war, as widespread male enlistment left gaping holes in the industrial labor force. Between 1940 and 1945, the female percentage of the U.S. workforce increased from 27 percent to nearly 37 percent, and by 1945 nearly one out of every four married women worked outside the home. With that said, The Riveter welcomes any barber that is talented and has an amazing personality who takes pride in their work! I am also a HUGE supporter of local businesses. Please stop in and check it out!!!
